Dr. David Folweiler – Chiropractor
Chiropractic care helped him overcome sports injuries to go on to compete well in dozens of triathlons. After some soul searching, Dr. Folweiler felt that the best way that he could help humanity was by becoming a chiropractor himself. He enjoys helping people overcome their health concerns to get back to doing what they love.
Dr. Folweiler has been a practicing chiropractor in the Pacific Northwest since 1994 and in North Seattle since 1998. He lives with his wife and their two children in a historic home in Ballard.

Deb Hamilton – Licensed Massage Therapist (#MA0011401)
Deb Hamilton has been in practice since 1991 and brings a depth of experience to her massage that makes her a tremendous asset. She draws from a wide range of techniques in her massages, from several modalities in deep tissue massage to energy work like Reiki and BodyTalk. She receives high compliments from chiropractors and clients.
Deb went to Virginia Tech and received a degree in communications. After working in advertising for a few years, she decided to make a change in careers. She was drawn to massage from a desire to help others and strengthen human connections and relationships.
That desire for human relationships carries over into her personal life. She gets strength and joy from her many friends. She is a passionate indoor gardener. Her Ballard home is filled with over 50 houseplants, including some that she has nurtured for decades. She has cuttings from her grandmother’s African violets and a terrarium plant that has grown to over six feet tall!
Seattle is a good fit for Deb. She finds Seattleites more grounded and balanced in their lives, allowing for more than just work.
Deb admits to two vices — tea and chocolate. She once dreamed of opening a community center/tea house based on these two loves, but finds that her true love is bodywork. Deb recently gave her 16,000th professional massage.
Bianca Vasquez – Chiropractic Assistant
Bianca was born and raised in Sonoma County of California. She has three associate degrees and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from schools in Sonoma County. She had the opportunity to study art history abroad in Florence, Italy as part of her education.
A few years ago, she decided to move to Seattle for the moderate climate and lush green vegetation. She likes the weather here and our proximity to the wilderness. In her time off, she likes to bake (mostly bread), tends to her many plants, roller skates, and hikes the Cascade foothills. She is enjoying the Seattle food scene and has tried many cuisines not available to her when she was living in Santa Rosa, such as Korean food.
Bianca lives in Belltown with her all-black, long-haired cat named Puka. Puka was a foster-fail. Puka is very sweet and loves to cuddle.
In high school and into her college years, Bianca suffered from daily migraine headaches. When medications failed to give her relief, some suggested that she try chiropractic. She was very skeptical of chiropractic at first, but as she got relief from the headaches, she became a booster for chiropractic care.
Benson – Our Office Dog
Our newest staff member, Benson, was adopted in January 2021 by Dr. Folweiler and joins him at the clinic daily.
Benson was found abandoned in Okanagan, WA, and somehow found his way into someone’s horse corral. He was then fostered briefly before being brought to the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, where Dr. Folweiler met him. Upon seeing how quickly Benson had come to be loved by all the staff members in just a few short days, Dr. Folweiler had a good feeling and adopted him that same day.
Benson is a low-energy, very relaxed dog. He loves to be petted and spoken to, and he likes for Dr. Folweiler to always be within his line of sight. Benson has turned out to love chewing, fetch, and his many toys – especially the ones which dispense treats. He enjoys kids, other dogs, trips to the dog park, and endless tummy rubs. Dr. Folweiler had Benson’s DNA tested: Benson is 25% Pit Bull, 25% Staffordshire Terrier, 25% Labrador Retriever, 25% Golden Retriever, and 110% sweetheart.
